- Develop and implement advanced process control strategies to monitor and control critical parameters during semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, equipment engineers, and data scientists, to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Candidate will have a hands on knowledge of Statistical Process Control.
- Fundamentals of Process control in a factory setting, including concepts of spec management, control limit calculation and use of SPC WE rules.
- Understanding of SPC KPIs and quality control methods and standards.
- Understanding of SPC performance metrics and maturity concepts.
- Knowledge of context mapping for SPC is essential to helping customers understand best practices.
- Candidate will need to be hands on in configuring and setting up SPC systems with customers.
- The integration of SPC data to FDC (Fault Detection Classification) is also essential.
- Understanding front end semi and backend semi is a minimum requirement.
- Adjacent industries adopting SPC standards and practices.
- Candidate will help customers learn the systems and work to resolve new requirements that may arise.
- Candidate will have direct influence of the SPC system roadmap by working with the GPM (Global Product Manager)
- Capture new customer requirements
- Help Explore new methods of SPC when required including helping scope requirements to develop AI based SPC functions for customers
- Collaborate with equipment customers to understand and integrate new process capabilities into the advanced process control framework.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in advanced process control technologies and industry best practices.
- Provide technical support and training to manufacturing teams on advanced process control tools, methodologies, and techniques.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of data analytics methodologies to extract actionable insights from process data.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline required, Masters preferred
- Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including lithography, etching, deposition, and metrology.
- Knowledge of advanced process control concepts, methodologies, and tools, such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), fault detection and classification (FDC), and run-to-run control (R2R).
- Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, MATLAB, or R, for data analysis and modeling is preferred.
- Experience with advanced process control software platforms, such as Siemens Opcenter, Applied Materials SmartFactory, or KLA AIQus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify methods of applying SPC.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of semiconductor industry standards and regulations is desirable.
- Language skills: Mandarin and English are required.
