If yes, this might be the job for you!Reach To Teach is partnered with a number of excellent public schools and private schools in Taipei. We're looking for a qualified private school teacher who is willing to teach in Taipei's Xinyi District. Your job will be to increase students' interests and motivations in studying English by providing fun and engaging lessons and activities for your classroom.You must have formal teaching experience and the listed qualifications to be considered for a job at this school.Start Date: August 2024TEACHING REQUIREMENTS:

Full university degree
3 years of classroom teaching experience in a school setting. Private tutoring, small group tutoring, babysitting, and online teaching experience are not considered as formal experience for this position.
120-hour TEFL
Clear National Background Check from your home country (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, the UK and the US)

This school will give preference (and a higher rate of pay) to teachers that have:

A university degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, or a PGCE
A teaching license for K through Grade 3.
Experience in a progressive program or familiarity with progressive pedagogical practices

REMUNERATION PACKAGE * MONTHLY SALARY: Start at NT$80,000+ per month (depending on education, experience, and qualifications)

PAID NATIONAL HOLIDAYS PLUS 7 DAYS OF PERSONAL PAID TIME OFF
SICK LEAVE: 12 days per year (half-day pay with doctor's note as per labor laws)

Additional Job Details:

Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm
Teaching hours: 25 teaching hours per week
Office hours: 15 hours per week for planning lesson plans, grading, greeting parents and students, and monitoring your classroom
Class size: 16 students per class
Teaching materials and books provided by the school
Training provided
Very low teacher turnover
