Technical support and services with responsibility for the entire supply chain of Bosch eBike Systems in Asia-Pacific with specific responsibilities for eBike assemblers, frame manufactures and third party component manufacturers in Taiwan and Vietnam.- Front end responsibility: technical interface to bicycle industry in Taiwan (Frame manufacturer, Assembler, Component manufacturer, OEM), Product trainings; Technical documentation; adaptation of the application SW according to market requirements; support of promotional activities (e.g. Taichung Bike Week) and OEMs in region.
- Back end responsibility: close cooperation with HQ (Taichung, Taiwan and Reutlingen, Germany) on product updates and regional requirements, Quality analysis, field tests, approval of support product releases, approval of 3rd party components, etc...
- Quarterly technical reporting on bike industry technical trends and status of assemblers in TW/VNQualificationsThe individual should be a strong, independent performer, capable of operating autonomously and with minimal management support, having a long-termed experience and excellent network in the bike industry, specifically in Taiwan.
Able to lead technical workshops in the area of bicycle mechanics or eBikes in both Chinese and English
- Communication, networking and organizational skills; strong relationship building skills with customers, suppliers and partners, self-starting
- Chinese language (fluent) written and oral
- English skill both in written and oral (proficient)
- At least 8 years of experience and a corresponding strong network of contacts within Asia bicycle industry, in the areas of application engineering, technical customer service or technical sales
- Technical engineering studies (e.g. MBE) or equivalent technically oriented education, with a great fondness for and interest in bicycles or related categories
