Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the GCM team, lifting its focus from transactional sourcing to long-term strategic planning.
- Provide clear structure, frameworks, and guidance that enable the team to anticipate business needs and scale with Ring's growth.
- Strategic Sourcing & Long-Term Planning
- Define and execute a multi-year commodity strategy that aligns with Ring's rapidly expanding product roadmap.
- Build a future-proof supply base through geographic diversification, and early supplier engagement on new technologies.
- Anticipate long-run supply chain risks and create mitigation strategies before they impact business operations.Supplier Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain executive-level partnerships with top-tier suppliers to secure priority access, best-in-class components, and collaborative innovation.
- Conduct regular business reviews with suppliers to ensure alignment on cost, quality, delivery, and roadmap readiness.Cost & Contract Negotiation
- Lead complex contract and price negotiations, ensuring optimal commercial outcomes for Ring.
- Drive structured cost reduction initiatives while maintaining supplier capability and product quality.Business Communication & Executive Influence
- Deliver clear, data-backed recommendations to senior executives, shaping sourcing and investment decisions.
- Serve as a thought leader, representing the GCM function at executive forums across Ring and Amazon.Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Introduce scalable tools, processes, and analytics that enhance decision-making and efficiency across the team.
- Monitor supplier performance and enforce structured improvement programs where required.
- Stay ahead of global market trends, technology shifts, and regulatory changes to guide long-term planning.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Solid experience in strategic sourcing, global commodity management, or supplier management within the consumer electronics (CE) industry.
- Strong track record in long-term strategic planning, beyond day-to-day sourcing execution.
- Proven success in supplier negotiations and contract management at a global scale.
- 5+ years of people management experience, with demonstrated ability to grow and elevate teams in global business environment.
- Excellent professional communication skills in English (written and verbal), with strong executive presence.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate ambiguity with a proactive, strategic mindset.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- MBA or advanced degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
- Experience with critical CE components sourcing
- Deep knowledge of international trade dynamics, tariffs, compliance, and risk management.
- Track record of implementing scalable tools or digital platforms for supplier/commodity management.
