Manor Renewable Energy (MRE), an OEG Group company, was established in 2013 and is recognised across the offshore energy industry for our knowledge and expertise in delivering a comprehensive range of temporary power, vessel provision and engineering solutions to the sector.This year we celebrate 10 years of MRE; throughout the last decade MRE has supported the lifecycle of numerous offshore wind farms, from the construction phase through to O&M, with our global fleet of offshore support vessels and our teams of marine and engineering professionals.Our expertise and track record allow us to meet the many and varied challenges encountered on offshore wind projects globally; we are proud to be a key player in assisting with the growing industry demand for efficient and reliable solutions as the sector transitions to greener energy.The Operations and Project Supports Specialist plays a pivotal role within our organization, reporting to the Head of Operations. This role is to ensure the seamless execution of the projects by providing comprehensive support in warehouse management, logistics, equipment maintenance, and facility management. This includes overseeing the efficient organization of project materials, optimising logistics arrangements, maintaining equipment in optimal condition, and ensuring the proper functioning and safety of project facilities. The specialist will collaborate with project managers to coordinate operational aspects, contribute to project planning, and implement solutions that enhance overall project efficiency. By managing these critical operational components, the Operations and Project Supports Specialist significantly contributes to the success of our projects and the achievement of project goals.Principal duties shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
  • Project Coordination and Supports
  • Collaborate with project managers to coordinate and support project activities, with a focus on logistics and equipment requirements
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation related to operations
  • Logistics Arrangement
  • Coordinate transportation for equipment, materials, and personnel to and from project sites
  • Work closely with logistics partners to optimize delivery schedules and minimize delays
  • Troubleshoot and resolve logistical issues as they arise
  • Facility Management
  • Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of project and group facilities.
  • Collaborate with facility service providers to address maintenance and repair needs
  • Implement safety and security measures for project and group facilities
  • Document Management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to warehouse inventory, equipment, and facility management
  • Organise and archive project-related materials for easy retrieval
  • Support of warehouse management
  • Monitor and oversee the operations in in line with Company HSEQ requirements.
  • Maintenance of the warehouse
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate stock
  • Implement efficient storage and retrieval systems for equipment and materials
  • Support of equipment Maintenance and Management
  • With the support of group entities and operations/servcie team, develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for project equipment
  • Collaborate with technical teams to address equipment issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and usage
  • Data Analysis
  • Collect and analyse data related to warehouse efficiency, logistics performance, and equipment downtime
  • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
Key skills and attributes required to add value to the business include:
  • Proven experience in a similar role with a focus on project delivery, operations, warehouse management, logistics, equipment maintenance, and facility management, preferably within the offshore wind industry.
  • Strong project coordination and support skills, with the ability to contribute to project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate effective communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Good analytical and reporting skills
  • Good written communication capabilities with the ability to engage and convey messages to a variety of audiences in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proactive work ethic with the ability to work well either individually or as part of a team and deliver to tight deadlines handling multiple projects.
Essential / Desirable qualifications required include:
  • Educated to degree level, preferably from an offshore wind, civil or mechanic background.
  • Prefer a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an operations or project execution role, in a business to business environment
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, and preferably having the experience in HSEQ systems
  • Good written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Desirable: Good oral Taiwanese/Hokkien
Competitive salary, national labour insurance, health insurance and pension included. Full time 37 ½ hours week.Must have the right to work in Taiwan.
