Job DescriptionNielsenIQ's Consumer Insights practice specializes in designing tailored research solutions to solve complex business problems. As a part of the Consumer Insights team, you will be working with some of Taiwan's biggest brands to make an impact across a diverse range of industries mainly in non-FMCG industry (including telecom, technology, public enterprise and expanded verticals). In your role, you will manage bespoke research projects spanning a wide variety of research approaches - ranging from traditional research methodologies through to using next-generation research tools.RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Business Development:
  • Identify areas of business opportunity and growth for the business unit
  • Build and maintain and further foster relationships with current & new clients
  • Develop plans to cross-sell and introduce new services to current clients
  • Work on strategy and approach to win back lapsed clients
  • Develop a winning sales framework for approaching new clients
  • Customize sale toolkit to be relevant with long-tail clients
  • Contribute to new business initiatives and participate in the development and launch of new services
  • Contribute to the short-term strategies and business plans for the growth of the business unit based on global and regional / sub-regional directions
  • Provide continuous feedback on competitive activities within assigned clients
  • Client Servicing:
  • Provide product solutions and benefits to client business issues/opportunities by developing strategic initiatives for each client
  • Foster relationships at all levels and functions of the client organization to identify opportunities for incremental product/solution sales
  • Ensure adherence to the company policies on business conduct/ethics when servicing clients are being observed by the entire division
  • Financial Management:
  • Achieve revenue targets as well as other related business development objectives as assigned
  • Monitor the actual financial performance against budget/forecast and ensure the implementation of appropriate actions that will lead to the achievement of the financial targets
  • Ensure proper pricing and contracts are completed and approved according to company's policies and guidelines
  • People Management:
  • Provide support, recognition, and feedback to assist associates in achieving the performance expectations and standards
  • Work with execution team to establish a strong team environment focused on exceeding internal and external client requirements
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of working experience in analytics
  • Be professional, well-presented and willing roll up your sleeves with a fun and energetic team!
  • Have excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Be self-motivated, adaptable, and proactive - no two days are the same in this role!
  • Strong commercial acumen and business development skills
  • Has knowledge of statistics, multivariate analysis, research techniques and methodologies
