Job Title:Senior Specialist, Procurement ContractsJob Description:The Role:Entegris is seeking a Procurement Contracts Manager to join the Entegris Law Department. We are looking for a talented attorney to join a team of contract managers supporting our rapidly growing and evolving procurement business. You will serve as the primary lawyer responsible for counseling the procurement organization and the business on a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters including structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial transactions. You and the team will work directly with the sourcing team and the business. You will serve as lead counsel on strategic deals, providing day-to-day advice, resolving issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.In this role you will:Serve as the primary lawyer responsible for counseling the procurement organization and the business on a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters including structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial transactionsServe as the primary Contract Management resource for Entegris’ APAC operationsYou and the team will work directly with the sourcing team and the business.You will serve as lead counsel on strategic dealsProvide day-to-day advice, resolve issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handle pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiriesPrincipal duties include structuring, drafting and negotiating complex procurement agreementsProvide ongoing legal counseling in a wide range of legal areasSystematically analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions and implement appropriate solutions.Exhibit excellent negotiating and persuasive skills.Participate in projects to improve the efficiency of the contract management process including implementing software platform updates/changes, contract data optimization and reviews to drive improvements.Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement contracts (minimizing risk, maximizing value) by updating contract templates, contract language and sharing of best practicesPlay a key role in the Law Department and be a partner to the strategy, buyer and category management excellence teams.Traits we believe make a strong candidate:J.D. or equivalent and membership in good standing in a state legal licensing organization2+ years of legal experienceFluent in both English and Mandarin; desired: fluent in JapaneseA successful candidate will have a strong transactional background and be hard-working, proactive, entrepreneurial and able to apply sound, pragmatic judgment in ambiguous situationsExcellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines using pragmatic judgment in ambiguous situationsYour success will be measured by:Successful handling of the contract volumeEfficient turnaround of contractsContinuous improvement in contract quality, minimizing risks and improving overall commercial value for EntegrisBeing seen as a key strategic partner for the sourcing team and the businessContribute to development of the contract management team’s skills via peer coaching, knowledge sharingBeing a key partner to the Strategy/Sustainability, Buyer and Category Management teams within the Law Department, contributing to cross functional projects and initiativesBuilding relationships throughout the company including the divisions and corporate functions, fostering alignment and progress towards Entegris goals.People and Teamwork – Ability to foster innovation and Build Talent for the for the future of the procurement teamAccountability, Integrity, and Trust – Engage with the Sourcing and Commercial teams to ensure supply optimization and the mitigation of contractual risk across the organizationCreativity and Innovation – Uses data to find opportunities for continuous improvement within the Law Department
