We pledge to make Prudential a place where you can Connect, Grow, and Succeed.As a Digital Customer Engagement and Acquisition Development Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and engagement through the development and enhancement of digital tools. You’ll lead a team responsible for creating and maintaining customer-facing applications, chatbots, online insurance, and other digital touchpoints. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring seamless customer experiences across various channels.Responsibilities1. Strategy and Execution:
  • Manage the development team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
  • Plan, prioritize, and assign tasks and projects to the team members, and monitor their progress and quality.
  • Ensure that the digital tools are user-friendly, secure, scalable, and reliable.
  • Ensure that the digital tools are compliant with the relevant standards and regulations.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other teams and stakeholders, such as marketing, sales, customer service, IT, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align digital initiatives with business goals.
  • Lead online Insurance teams to enhance customer value propositions through self-service options and technical knowledge/support.
  • Prepare and present reports and updates on the team's performance and achievements.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and trends that can improve the digital customer engagement tools.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
2. Requirements and Use Cases:
  • Work closely with business function and technical primes to translate approved business requirements into detailed system requirements.
  • Review team deliverables to ensure alignment with use cases and system requirements.
  • Ensure that the digital tools are aligned with the company's vision, strategy, and brand identity.
3. Vendor Management:
  • Evaluate vendor work deliverables (such as System Design Specifications) to ensure compliance with system requirements.
  • Explore alternative solutions to meet project goals.
  • Manage risk, schedule, quality, and change throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Testing and Deployment:
  • Define test criteria and contribute to test plans.
  • Review and sign off on functional requirement, system integration testing result, code merge review and program deployment etc.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful deployment.
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineering team to build and maintain the end-to-end auto-testing cases.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in developing digital internet facing tools, such as web applications, mobile applications, chatbots.
  • At least 1 years of experience in leading and managing a development team.
  • Proficient in various programming languages, frameworks, and tools, such as Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Node.js, Python, Django, Flask, Firebase, AWS, Git, spring etc.
  • Strong knowledge of user interface design, user experience, and usability principles.
  • Strong knowledge of web and mobile security, performance, and optimization techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passionate about creating innovative and engaging digital tools that delight customers.
