- Manage the development team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
- Plan, prioritize, and assign tasks and projects to the team members, and monitor their progress and quality.
- Ensure that the digital tools are user-friendly, secure, scalable, and reliable.
- Ensure that the digital tools are compliant with the relevant standards and regulations.
- Communicate and coordinate with other teams and stakeholders, such as marketing, sales, customer service, IT, and external partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align digital initiatives with business goals.
- Lead online Insurance teams to enhance customer value propositions through self-service options and technical knowledge/support.
- Prepare and present reports and updates on the team's performance and achievements.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and trends that can improve the digital customer engagement tools.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Work closely with business function and technical primes to translate approved business requirements into detailed system requirements.
- Review team deliverables to ensure alignment with use cases and system requirements.
- Ensure that the digital tools are aligned with the company's vision, strategy, and brand identity.
- Evaluate vendor work deliverables (such as System Design Specifications) to ensure compliance with system requirements.
- Explore alternative solutions to meet project goals.
- Manage risk, schedule, quality, and change throughout the project lifecycle.
- Define test criteria and contribute to test plans.
- Review and sign off on functional requirement, system integration testing result, code merge review and program deployment etc.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful deployment.
- Collaborate with Quality Engineering team to build and maintain the end-to-end auto-testing cases.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in developing digital internet facing tools, such as web applications, mobile applications, chatbots.
- At least 1 years of experience in leading and managing a development team.
- Proficient in various programming languages, frameworks, and tools, such as Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Node.js, Python, Django, Flask, Firebase, AWS, Git, spring etc.
- Strong knowledge of user interface design, user experience, and usability principles.
- Strong knowledge of web and mobile security, performance, and optimization techniques.
- Strong knowledge of agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
