The Scrum Master will be part of the ClickShare Meeting Experience R&D team. The ideal candidate is willing to take full responsibility for coaching and facilitating the work of cross-functional Agile teams. They create stable and self-organized teams with a clear and engaging direction and help identify and resolve impediments. They are accountable for assessing teams' needs, providing a suitable Agile approach, and providing Agile consultation services to the customer or management upon request.As a Scrum Master in Barco, you will cooperate with several squad teams across different sites and ensure clear alignment on dependencies and schedules during the release planning of Global Backlog Alignment. Strong communication skills are required to ensure diverse insights are heard, enabling the whole team to move forward efficiently.Your effort is important for the company as you will need to filter out interruptions and ensure the team focuses on high-value tasks. You will need to be comfortable dealing with conflicts when handling the interruptions or impediments.Key Responsibilities

Ensure the team supports and aligns with Scrum activities: daily stand-ups, refinement, sprint reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Remove various impediments with the team (including organizational, supplier dependencies, work environment or mindset-related) to protect the squad(s)'s progress and act as its servant leader.
Be accountable for continuous improvement and incremental delivery, and promote an open-minded working environment, ensuring the squad(s) recognize and apply the principles of inspection and adaptation.
Be accountable for defect management, making sure critical software defects are resolved efficiently and effectively.
Coach the squad(s) toward self-organization, cross-functionality, and Agile methodologies.
Oversee the release sprints and make sure the planned functionality is released within the defined sprint.
Help the squad(s) to deliver high-value and high-quality products.
Collaborate with other scrum masters.
Facilitate scrum events as requested or needed.
Support the product owner in arranging the product backlog to maximize value.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field preferred.
5+ years of proven experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager in the IT/Software industry.
Report on obstacles/issues in a meaningful and accurate way to management so a quick remediation can occur to move our process along.
Familiarity with software and product development.
Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks.
Excellent communication and servant leadership skills.
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability.
Outstanding organizational skills.
Scrum Master certification is a plus.
