Responsibilities:MaxLinear is seeking a Staff Test Product Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible and focus on the following:

Support and resolve test production engineering, test software, and hardware-related issue, including evaluation, debugging, optimization during ramp-up/high volume production
Migrating the existing production test programs to multisite and a cost-effective or a modern tester
Develops innovative solutions for high parallel testing, new methodologies to improve coverage and test time, and more efficient program structures

Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years of product and test development engineering experience or related work experience is required
Experience with several states of the art Automated Test Equipment (ATE), preferably on Teradyne Ultraflex, Advantest V93K, Teradyne J750 and Cohu D10 is required
Solid understanding and experience developing an ATE SoC program from NPI to high volume ramp stage is required
Strong analytical skills and proven competency in problem-solving is required
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, strong time management, multi-tasking skills, and good initiative to overcome technical challenges are required
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required. Experience with testing of Broadband RF front-end receiver, wideband modem, Wifi, MoCA, Docsis and PCIE is preferred
Strong software skills (Java, C/C++, Visual Basic, Perl, Python, etc.) is preferred
Experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, RF signal generators, power meter, network analyzer is preferred
