TasksØ Mercedes-Benz Taiwan is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our Legal & Compliance team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly dynamic environment within one of the world's leading luxury automobile brands. You will play a key role in shaping and executing our compliance agenda, ensuring alignment with global standards while supporting local business needs. In this role, you will report to the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer of Mercedes-Benz Taiwan and collaborate closely with HQ, regional compliance teams, and local management. You will lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of compliance programs in the Taiwan market.Key Responsibilities:Regulatory Monitoring: Identify, interpret, and monitor applicable regulations and internal policies related to business operations, including Data Governance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC), and Check Against Sanctions (CAS).Compliance Risk Management: Evaluate business processes and assess compliance risks; support implementation of key programs such as the Antitrust Control Program and internal control system; deliver compliance training and communication to employees and target groups.Policy & Documentation Support: Draft, review, and translate internal guidelines and policy documents to ensure local relevance and global consistency.Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders on compliance-related initiatives; assist in regulatory reporting and response preparation when needed.Ad Hoc Legal Support: Provide legal input on cross-functional projects and business initiatives as assigned.QualificationsQualifications:Bachelor's degree or above in Law, Finance, Information Technology, or related fields5-8 years PQE, ideally with in-house or corporate compliance/legal experienceStrong command of English (spoken and written)Proficiency with presentation tools such as PowerPoint, Canva, Gamma, or other AI-enabled platformsBar admission is a strong plus, but not requiredKey Competencies:Strong legal knowledge with solid analytical and risk assessment capabilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills; team-oriented mindsetAbility to manage ambiguity and perform under pressure in a fast-paced business environmentSelf-driven, with a high level of ownership, professionalism, and integrityTo apply:Please submit a one-page English CV and a brief self-introduction slide.
