- Manage a diverse project pipeline, encompassing short, medium, and long-term opportunities across various states, project types, and markets.
- Lead the sales cycle, from deal origination to contract negotiation and closure, aiming to achieve targeted product volume and revenue goals annually.
- Provide guidance and support to the Government Relations and Policy team by engaging in discussions with key government officials on energy policy matters.
- Lead the development of formal submissions addressing government energy policy topics.
- Deliver timely reports to management as needed.
- Prepare quotes and deliver high-quality, accurate project proposals to customers, often in response to complex utility RFPs.
- MUST: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the renewable energy sector and/or power industry.
- Previous experience in sales or business development roles within the energy sector, with a focus on customer interaction.
- Proficiency in battery systems, renewable power, and grid markets, including a solid understanding of local energy policies.
- Hands-on experience in contract negotiation within the energy storage or renewable sector.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, particularly in complex price modeling, project economics, techno-economic optimization, and quantitative risk analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and execute them effectively.
- Willingness to travel periodically.
