About the RoleLocationTaiwanTaipeiTaipeiCompanySiemens Energy LimitedOrganizationGrid TechnologiesBusiness UnitServiceFull / Part timeFull-timeExperience LevelExperienced ProfessionalWe have an exciting leadership role, The Head of Grid Technologies Service (APAC) , responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of Grid Technology Services in the Pacific Sub-Hub 2 (Taiwan / Vietnam / Philippines / South Korea / Japan) as well as the direct Country Service lead for the local legal entity.This role will also focus on developing and supporting strategic and growth plans aligned to business objectives.How You'll Make an Impact

Active member of the GT SV Asia Pacific management team, driving the strategy and the operational business within the sub-hub (including responsible for the local budget / initiatives / resourcing / efficiency / NCCs ) to achieve targets and financial targets.
Within a matrix organization, leading & developing the business and local team direct reports covering Bid / Field Service / Project Management/ Technical Specialist in the sub-hub for continued sustainable business and operations.
Collaboration with GT Sales, Factories and other SE Business Areas and Execution Units for growth opportunities.
Increasing customer interaction and satisfaction, building trust and close professional relationships, and are the escalation point for our local customers & Key industry Stakeholders meeting on a regular basis to ensure successful implementation of ongoing projects and push/secure new opportunities.
Developing and driving the execution of sales opportunities together with GT Sales and the implementation of projects.
Creates transparency within the region, including making clear priorities for short/long term growth & sustainability in line with unique local understanding of markets and customers.
Establish close contact and professional relationships with local contractors and evaluate / develop the potential as preferred suppliers or even as business partners with targets to secure additional business volume.

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
5 years proven leadership experience in managing teams, projects, and budgets.
10 years of experience and knowledge of the energy sector (including regulatory, environment, and industry trends), with a focus on grid technologies (High Voltage Systems) and services within North East Asia required.
Work experience in an engineering role or as a site / field service technical expert would be beneficial.
Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Positive attitude to work in challenging environment
Understands cultural differences and copes with them effectively to build strong relationships.
Strong competence in using IT Tools including Microsoft Suite (e.g. Excel, Projects), SAP, and Salesforce applications.
Professional English required, where additional Asian languages will be a benefit.
Willing to travel frequently within the Asian region and from time to time to Europe / Internationally
