Product Development
  • Work with Taiwan Head of Product to ensure an effective and efficient Product Governance & Approval process (locally and regionally).
  • Monitor competitor launch activity in local markets and through cross border platforms to maintain an awareness of product trends.
  • Keep abreast of key regulatory changes, understanding whether the changes provide an opportunity or a threat.
  • Prepare product filing documents and submit application for onshore fund, offshore fund, and ILP mandate, and engage with SITCA and SFB.
2. Product Implementation
  • Coordinate with stake-holder cross functions in Taiwan, Asia and US region to ensure the successful planning and execution of product launches and or product changes (mergers, closures etc.)
  • Manage and lead the product launch project from product perspective. Work closely with the respective investment team, legal, marketing, tax, compliance and distribution.
3. Product Management
  • Post launch reviews to understand the success factors or areas to be improved.
  • Evaluation of existing products from product pricing, investment objectives, and product features perspective seeking ways to enhance product in a way that they remain current.
  • Identify subscale and or poor performing funds / fund platforms / share classes and work with the respective senior stakeholders, to make a recommendation to merge or bring to closure.
  • Work closely with offshore fund management companies and external legal counsel to ensure kept updated of offshore fund changes and perform regulatory reporting and publications as per Taiwan regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Academic Qualification: bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance/business
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experiences in asset management / financial industry
  • Product development & management experience is preferred.
