Senior Software Engineer

Main Tasks:

• Design and develop controls and software for new products features by collaborating with cross functional teams across different geographic regions.
• Ownership of technical specifications for new developments, by liaising with stakeholders on product requirements.
• Evaluate technical specifications of third-party components used for own developments including the testing if any.
• Conduct development reviews and validations
• Support project specification analysis and effort estimations

Requirements 

Education

•         Bachelors or master’s degree in software or computer engineering or computer science or related field.

Work experience

•         ≥ 3 years of experience in full-stack software development.

•         Able to develop concepts and architectures.

•         Able to mentor and guide other stakeholders.

Expertise and methodology

(Business knowledge, languages, MS-Office, etc.)

•         Full-Stack development capabilities

•         Product development and use of development tools (Visual Studio, .NET core)

•         Programming languages: C, C++, C#, Go

•         Software Development Life Cycle

•         Agile development model

•         Strong knowledge of REST, JSON, XML

•         Test driven development

•         Networking technology

•         Any of the following skills and experiences are advantageous and preferred:

o   Cross-OS development

o   Machine learning/data analytics/AI implementations

o   Imaging/graphic processing

o   3D-modeling applications such as DFP (Digital Fringe Projection) system and other similar experiences

o   Android/IOS development

o   Knowledge of vision inspection

o   Angular, Java, Python, PHP, HTML5/CSS etc.

o   Embedded development (ST and NXP processors)

Other requirement criteria

(Personal related competence as social competence, management competence, strategic competence, willingness to travel, etc.)

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for collaborating across different stakeholders, cross cultural and international environment.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, other languages are an advantage
• Able to conduct design reviews with an international audience
