- A delegation is given by the Senior Banker to the Relationship Manager to provide to CACIB's targeted clients the complete range of products to help them manage working capital and international trade needs
- Understand client's strategy, businesses and financial situation, and anticipate its needs for financial services
- Understand specificities, challenges, stakes linked to client industry or sector
- Map client internal organization, identify key decision makers (CEO, CFO, CIO, etc.), develop with them strong relationships and foster multi-products/multi-countries relationships between the Bank and the client
- Lead the team facing client, offering the best of our “know how” to find the appropriate solutions suited to its needs, and develop cross-selling at CA CIB level and group level when appropriate
- Obtain quality, profitable mandates of financial operations, in line with CSPs (business lines, geographies, sectors), and optimize scarce resources of the Bank (RWA, Liquidity)
- Maximize volumes and profitability of the investment flows and hedging flows given to our market teams
- Foster our credit distribution and liquidity collection
- Understand and anticipate the risks associated with the activities of a Corporate and Investment Bank, and hold the primary responsibility for counterparty risks, along with the concerned business lines
- Proactively manage risks related to each transaction, along with the concerned business lines, to anticipate default situations and minimize specific provisioning
- Facilitate access of other Branches and Units within CA-CIB global network to co- operation with clients
- Manage the dedicated Relationship Manager sharing with her/him objectives, resources and information
- Follow compliance principles and internal rules, and make sure they are applied
- Act ethically and adhere to regulations. Respect and ensure respect of compliance, rules, risk, and principles as defined within the Bank; in particular respect clients' interest and confidentiality.
- Capability to develop new business such as investment banking (ie. M&A advisory), renewable advisory (such as CPPA advisory), sustainable finance advisory etc.
- Strong credit sense/background
- Maturity and autonomy, ability to quickly adapt to a new environment and work within a team.
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving capability.
