Job Description:Account Manager – Strategic Account Management (SAM) - Property and CasualtyAon is currently recruiting an Account Manager to join our SAM team in Taipei, Taiwan.Aon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What the day will look likePrimarily responsible for cultivating relationships with clients through day-to-day account management of a book of business or client accounts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to solidifying relationships to secure existing business with identified clients and, where applicable, growing the business through the sale of additional products and/or solutions aligned to client needs.
  • Provides the property and casualty risk solutions to our clients from sizable corporations.
  • Manages the renewal process with existing clients, including developing the renewal strategy, negotiating the product, rates and benefits mix.
  • Develops reporting strategies and presentation materials that thoroughly represent Aon’s services and value proposition to the client.
  • Stay on track and increase year on year client retention ratio.
  • Coordinate, align and focus best resources to retain business, expand products offerings and/or create new business opportunities.
  • Support the growth planning framework including regular and dynamic focus on the Market Assessment process.
  • Applies company policies and procedures to deliver varied technical and professional activities.
  • Ensure all activities are complying with laws and regulations.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • With 3-5 years of relevant experience in account management, underwriting, or claims, preferrable in Property and Casualty insurance
  • Has conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures typically acquired through a college or university degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Performs work in a specialized area of expertise that requires knowledge of fundamental themes, principles and concepts
  • With strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable to interact with both internal and external parties independently
  • Able to follow defined procedures and works independently to prioritize and organize work.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
