Research analysts are responsible for analysing and collecting information on ‘Green’ product/service portfolio of companies. As research analyst you are responsible for a critical function in the Sustainable Investment team, having complete ownership of data used by our clients. We are looking for individuals with very high attention to detail and who can work under strict delivery timelines.Role ResponsibilitiesCollect quantitative and qualitative data from multiple information sources including annual reports, sustainability reports, websites, and other filings of publicly traded companiesAnalyse collected data as per a pre-defined ratings methodology/mentorship manualSupport analysis with brief comments and rationaleProvide appropriate references of source documents usedDevelop strong subject matter expertise on various sub parts of our data collection methodologyInitiate and implement projects to optimize workflow and improve data qualityQualifications and Experience RequiredBachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceExcellent English and Japanese language skillsAbility to work independently with high degree of ownershipAbility to meet strict weekly timeliness and quality standardsAbility to multi-task and be results drivenExperience in sustainability is helpfulLSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
