Join Coupang now to create an epic impact in this always-on, high-tech, and hyper-connected world.Position: Principal/Sr. Manager, Process InnovationProcess Innovation team drives process improvement across the entire supply chain by analyzing Coupang's processes and supports the implementation/settlement of the items on the field, thereby contributing to enhancing Coupang's competitiveness. Improving process & cost are the primary goals for this role. These roles require scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination, project management.What you will do?
  • Lead initiatives for cost reduction/process innovation within the fulfillment centre network for all FCs.
  • Deliver cost goals and other key KPIs assigned
  • Process set up and streamlining the process across all Fulfillment centres
  • Deep dive into key areas to identify areas of improvement and gather data and analyse data to arrive at actionable insights.
  • Lead cross-functional projects between Ops and the other stakeholders for the process improvement
  • Undertake RCA for issues and solving complex operational problems
  • Do deep dives on recurring issues and bring a systematic closure to those issues
  • Process review and improvement in all function areas or new identified levers in the event of breakdown/disruption for Tech issues, external issues and internal operations
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Design, or equivalent degree/experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in process enhancement, project management, and problem solving.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
  • Experience in working and collaborating with diverse teams in a rapidly growing environment
  • Ability to analyze data, provide insight and apply solution
  • Experience in implementing/managing complex projects while leading various stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to show commitment at work and exert leadership
  • Ability to mentor junior and senior engineers
  • Fluent in English communication
