:Grocery & Retail(GR) is a fast-growing business within Uber Eats that enables consumers to get just about anything delivered through the Uber Eats app. Uber Eats Mart(or so-called Dark Grocery, DG) is an Uber-owned supermarket, a new type of online grocery store under the GR Taiwan line of business, focusing on providing consumers with the most reliable, convenient, and best selection through the on-demand grocery delivery service within 30 minutes.We are looking for a passionate, committed, and flexible Consumer Strategy & Operations Manager to drive the success of DG. You will be responsible for guiding the formulation of our campaign and in-app merchandising strategies for our consumer growth. You will shape DG's consumer acquisition/engagement/retention/resurrection strategy by incorporating our procurement team's category development strategies. You'll be supporting DG to differentiate us from other retailers in this highly competitive market with strong value propositions.The right candidate will be creative, analytical, excellent in planning, operational management, and execution, skilled in project management, passionate about every detail of retail, and ready to roll up your sleeves.What You'll Be:
  • An important business partner in Dark Grocery's Strategy Development department leading the campaign & merchandising strategy development.
  • Accountable for driving campaign & merchandising & operational results and key business metrics including campaign & daily category sales, traffic, and conversion rate.
  • A leader on a new and globally supported pilot from day one. As we scale, you will be the subject matter expert on your functional area and the go-to resource for best practices within the team.
  • Flexible and high-energy day-to-day. The team will work on previously uncharted tasks, and you will need to be agile and adaptable to unfamiliar situations. No task is beneath you, but you do not hesitate to challenge existing processes.
  • A strategic advocate for the long-term vision. You will be a key member of a lean team and must advocate amongst cross-functional stakeholders for support and resources to achieve ambitious targets.
What You'll Do:
  • Strategy development: Shape and execute the consumer growth strategy through leveraging campaign and merchandising levers for DG by deriving actionable insights and proposals
  • Customer relationship management: Manage consumer lifecycle by scaling lifetime value and expanding online shopping use cases across acquisition, retention, and resurrection, and improve user engagement through online/offline events
  • Analytics & Insights: Track and evaluate key metrics, providing actionable insights to the management team regarding user health, campaign plan, and communication strategies
  • Communication optimization: Drive in-app merchandising and content strategy, including planning, creation, and A/B testing of curated content to optimize the performance of full-funnel channels
  • Team collaboration: Orchestrate and bring together the work of a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders, including Operations, Procurement, Marketing, Public Relations, Legal, Product, Community Operations, and Strategy & Planning team
The Experience You'll Bring:
  • At least 3 years of experience in digital marketing, strategy consulting, CRM, campaign planning, or operational roles; preferably in eCommerce, FMCG/CPG, B2C internet apps, or retail industries.
  • Business level English.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets. SQL is a plus
  • Excellent in presentation and verbal/written communication.
  • A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity: Launching a new business model isn't easy, and there isn't an existing plan for you to follow. You'll need to drive this forward autonomously.
  • Able to identify key business problems, and propose potential solutions based on data and strategic framework
  • Strong organization, planning, and project management skills
  • A team player who doesn't mind rolling up your sleeves to do the day-to-day work
