Job Title:Manager, Facilities and UtilitiesJob Description:The Role:Facility/Utility Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and management of utility systems, such as electricity, gas, chemicals, water, and wastewater. He or she works with authorities to ensure compliance with regulatory emission limits/permits.Facility/Utility Manager is also responsible for security and landscaping of the facilityIn this role you will:Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulationsOversee the operations, maintenance, and repair of utility systemsDevelop and implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce costs and environmental impactManage utility budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunitiesManage security and landscaping contracts to ensure facility is safe and landscaping well maintainedSupervise and train utility staff, including engineers, technicians and operatorsWork closely with internal stakeholders to ensure their requirements are met with no disruptions to their operations, and external stakeholders (fire bureau, environmental bureau, safety bureau, etc) to ensure regulatory compliancesDevelop and implement a list of capital projects (new installations, upgrades and maintenance of critical equipment)Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure utility system reliabilityRespond to utility related emergencies, such as power outages or water main breaksTraits we believe make a strong candidate:Bachelor degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred10 years+ experience in facilities/utilitiesStrong mechanical skills and knowledge of HVAC and building management systemsWastewater plant & boilers operation experiences are preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with all levels of management, employees and team membersGood time management, organization and prioritization abilitiesGreat problem-solving and analytical skillsProficient in EnglishYour success will be measured by:Your ability to work with a diverse team in terms of background and skill sets to achieve greater levels of efficiency and manufacturing robustness.Your ability to manage time and balance short term needs of day-to-day production environment with long term project deliverables and timelines.Your ability to develop and help implement the future state of manufacturing excellence in KSP factory.Feedback from your teammates across the company on your ability to effectively collaborate and provide solutions.
