Experience with audio testing methodologies, tools, quality metrics, and lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and audio analyzers).

Experience in C/C++ and scripting languages (e.g., Python).

Knowledge of embedded system development and debugging techniques.

The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.Responsibilities

Design and execute test plans for audio algorithms on hardware goals, including use cases and environmental conditions (e.g., noise, holding position, etc.) to identify potential issues.

Collaborate with Algorithm and Firmware teams to pinpoint issues and isolate the root cause during integration.

Propose solutions considering algorithm and firmware impact, and suggest performance optimizations.

Identify integration challenges and potential compatibility issues early in the development cycle.

Debug tools and develop scripts or tools to automate testing and analysis tasks to the audio processing pipeline.
