- Design and develop software/firmware for automotive displays, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and user experience.
- Develop functional capabilities for automotive sensors and interfaces, focusing on accuracy, responsiveness, and integration with vehicle systems.
- Conduct research and development of in-vehicle embedded systems, incorporating industry standards and best practices for safety, security, and efficiency.
- Design software/firmware for automotive display test tools, enabling comprehensive testing and validation of display functionalities and performance.
- Explore and implement embedded systems for automotive products, including OSEK, AutoSAR, and other relevant platforms, to meet industry requirements and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and quality assurance professionals, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of software/firmware solutions.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software/firmware components, identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and industry standards related to automotive software development, contributing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Document software/firmware designs, specifications, and development processes, ensuring clarity and accessibility for team members and stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and team meetings to foster collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
- Bachelor's Degree or Master Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in software/firmware development for automotive applications, with a focus on displays, sensors, interfaces, and embedded systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and Java, as well as familiarity with embedded software development tools and environments.
- Strong understanding of automotive software architectures, protocols, and standards, including CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
- Experience with automotive testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks, such as Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, and dSPACE.
- Knowledge of embedded real-time operating systems (RTOS) and automotive middleware platforms, including OSEK and AutoSAR.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex software/firmware issues and implement effective solutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Adaptability to changing project requirements, priorities, and deadlines in a dynamic automotive development environment.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and compliance with automotive industry regulations and standards.
