- Lead a team of Peloton manufacturing engineers in a fast-paced, CM/ODM/JDM environment with an inclusive culture of integrity
- Collaborate with CM/ODM/JDM in identifying and qualifying suitable manufacturing processes; Identify and highlight manufacturability issues during pre-production builds to ensure product quality is stable and that supply is predictable during ramp and regular activities to ensure manufacturing performance
- Manage local manufacturing engineering activities including resource planning, project management activities and implementation of manufacturing equipment, systems, and processes
- Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineers, Quality, Sustaining, Operations and Logistics to deliver Peloton products to market
- Drive the supply base to ensure high-quality, predictable manufacturing activities
- Lead Focused Improvement activities in the plant with primary actions to drive improvements through lean manufacturing techniques
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives involving daily operations, engineering/assembly in-processes and organization structure
- Utilize cost deployment to identify areas with the most opportunity, then leading teams through projects to resolve and reduce the losses, and leading development of the management team
- Experience in hands-on manufacturing, assembly environment and consumer hardware assembly experience preferred
- Knowledge of component, assembly, schematics, engineering drawings
- Knowledge of various manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, injection, overmolding, welding, and metal forming, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Industrial Engineering; MS/MBA is preferred
- 10+ years of manufacturing operations experience, enabling the transition of new products into high-volume production
- 5+ years of experience in a direct team leadership role; hiring, coaching, developing, and mentoring
- Successful history building high-performing manufacturing engineering and/or production teams
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Experience with core manufacturing processes, including automation, robotics, assembly, injection molding, CNC machining, stamping, forging, casting, bending, surface finishing, SMT/PCB/PCBA
- Strong problem-solving and conflict management organizational and administrative skills
- Knowledge of constraint management principles, Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Process Improvement
- Knowledge of component, assembly, schematics, engineering drawings
- Experience implementing or co-implementing Lean Manufacturing systems
- Experience and understanding of an equipment assembly environment
- Extensive amount of independent thinking is required
- Demonstrated strong track record of strong leadership and communication skills
- Candidate must be willing to travel domestically and internationally 10% or more as needed
