The Head of Power Transmission is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the power transmission infrastructure associated with the development of an Offshore Wind Farm. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership capabilities to ensure the efficient and reliable transmission of electricity generated by the Wind Turbines, contributing to growth ambitions. As Head of Power Transmission, you will become a key member of our Engineering Management team reporting to the Head of Engineering, and work closely with our Owners, Partners, and other stakeholders. Your main responsibility will be focused on managing the Power Transmission areas including all the sub functions such as Substations, Electrical systems, and Cables. You will work together with the procurement team and management team to develop and execute the overall Power Transmission strategy.Scope Description:As a key member of the team, your role will encompass the following:Team Leadership:

Lead and inspire a team of project managers, transmission engineers, technicians, and support staff to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Power Transmission department.Project Management:

Oversee the planning, design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of power transmission systems for offshore wind farms.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure successful pipeline delivery.Operations and Maintenance:

Develop and implement maintenance strategies and programs for power transmission assets together with our&M Department to ensure reliability, availability, and performance optimization.

Help monitor transmission system performance and reliability metrics, analyze data trends, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Regulatory Compliance:Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, standards, and permits governing power transmission operations and maintenance activities.

Stay abreast of industry developments and best practices in power transmission technology, regulations, and safety standards.

Collaborate with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and stakeholders to advocate for policies that promote renewable energy transmission infrastructure development.
