· Develop and implement a comprehensive government affairs strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and priorities.
· Build and maintain relationships with government officials, legislators, and regulatory agencies to advance the organization's interests and advocate for favorable policies.
· Monitor legislative and regulatory proposals at the local, state, and federal levels, and provide in-depth analysis of their potential impact on the organization.
· Represent the organization at government hearings, meetings, and events to articulate its positions and influence decision-makers.
· Collaborate with industry associations, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to build coalitions and alliances that amplify the organization's advocacy efforts.
· Prepare and present advocacy materials, including policy briefs, policy papers, and the testimony.Key Requirements:
- 12+ years of combined experience in handling government affairs, advocacy, and public affairs in Taiwan, preferably in the industries of High-Tech
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communications, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Strong analytical skills & strategic thinking
- Education: BS/MS in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, or related studies. Full work proficiency in English speaking & writing.
