RESPONSIBILITIESSales Strategy
  • Develop and execute on implementation of FM sales strategy to achieve revenue targets
  • Devise client-level product strategy aligned with overall account plan
  • Recommend and implement the appropriate service model for respective clients; and retain ownership of overall client experience
  • Collaborate with Banking and other partners in CCIB, and in Risk, Credit and Compliance to deliver the Bank’s FM products and services
  • Build and enhance the Bank’s distribution capacity through establishing and maintaining network of relationships with clients, partners and regulatory bodies
Business Development
  • Support the achievement of FM Sales income targets via identification / execution of FM Financing deals, focusing on the origination-to-distribution across assigned client segments
  • Leverage one’s client network to identify sales opportunities for the Bank
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Product Management and Structuring team to identify business opportunities, structure products and pitch appropriate solutions to clients
  • Act as a conduit between clients and the Bank’s capabilities (e.g., trading, global research), enabling further cross-sell opportunities to meet clients’ financing / investing needs
  • Review all flows and market movements across assigned regions, and construct trade ideas and communicate to the wider teams
  • Analyse and keep abreast of Financial Market environment and conditions to capture sales opportunities (e.g., growing demand for sustainable finance, dedollarisation, emergence of crypto)
  • Work closely with Data Solutions and Digital Analytics team to leverage on market and client data to identify business opportunities
Client management
  • Take ownership of all aspects of service delivery to the client within financial markets, including support functions such as operations
  • Conduct client profiling and client financial needs analysis
  • Manage deal execution, maintain oversight on implementation, and ensure revenue realisation
  • Collaborate with Implementation, Client Management and Service teams to ensure consistently superior client experience
Technology
  • Define and execute on digitisation agenda within assigned portfolio in order to drive greater client loyalty and wallet share growth
  • Digitally accelerate client data analysis using digital CRM solutions to receive hyper-personalised client sales and products recommendations while reducing need for manual coordinating with multiple sales support staff
  • Leverage knowledge of emerging technologies (e.g. AI/ML, blockchain) to sell relevant products to clients while ensuring compliance with global standards (e.g., use of distributed ledger technology (DLT) to settle trades and automate payment process)
Risk, Regulatory and Governance
  • Where applicable, ensure credit, operational, legal, regulatory, reputation, compliance are held to the highest standards of risk management (at a product and enterprise level as relevant)
  • Identify and mitigate risks through day-to-day analysis of transactional data, external factors and other drivers
  • Identify and mitigate digital and data risks in accordance to local markets’ data protection and privacy laws
  • Keep abreast with changing regulatory requirements and provide advisory support to clients
