Automation Test Solution Program ManagerDescription -Job Summary
  • This role is responsible for leading functional project teams to oversee the entire automation testing rate and development progress. The role ensures adherence to testing guidelines, standards, and analyzes test data to provide actionable insights. The role applies advanced subject matter knowledge to improve automation quality, mitigate risks, and drive innovation to achieve business goals.
Responsibilities
  • Use MSFT Power tools, e.g. Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Virtual Agents.
  • Analyze design and determine coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.
  • Write and execute complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identify and debug and create solutions for issues with code and integration into application architecture.
  • Participate in a software agile team to collaborate and communicate with team members regarding software applications design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
  • Leads and provides expertise to functional project teams of other test engineers and internal and outsourced test partners responsible for all stages of systems, equipment, and device testing, including solution and test plan design, validation, tooling, test execution and results evaluation.
  • Expands relationships with internal and outsourced partners for systems, equipment, and device testing.
  • Reviews and evaluates product designs and project activities for compliance with technology and testing guidelines and standards.
  • Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing, and coordinating corrective action measures.
  • Provides tangible feedback based on results to improve product quality and mitigate risk of product failure.
  • Applies advanced subject matter knowledge, and contributes to other complex projects, and exercises independent judgment in resolving business issues and establishing policies.
  • Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the test engineering organization.
  • Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members to set an example of test engineering design and development innovation and excellence.
Education & Experience
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in debug and validation, or a related field.
  • Experience on MSFT Power tools, e.g. Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Virtual Agents.
