Location: New Taipei CityPosition OverviewWe are seeking a technically driven and customer-focused Applications Engineer to join our high-speed interconnect solutions team. In this role, you will work directly with customers to customize standard interconnect products (such as connectors and cable assemblies) to meet specific application requirements. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quoting, and Product Management teams to deliver timely and cost-effective solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze customer application needs and recommend customized product solutionsTranslate customer requests into feasible product modificationsAssign and manage internal part numbers for customized componentsSubmit and follow up on engineering change requests (ECRs)Respond to technical inquiries and provide product supportReview and interpret mechanical drawings to ensure design compatibility and manufacturabilityConduct basic cost analysis to support pricing and quoting processesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines, technologies, and component capabilitiesPartner with Product Managers to identify emerging customer trends and solution opportunitiesProvide regular updates on project and customer interaction statusAttend client meetings, industry trade shows, or site visits as needed (some travel required)QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials Engineering, or a related fieldFamiliarity with interconnect technologies (connectors, cable assemblies, etc.) is a plusStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishProficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings (experience with CAD or SolidWorks is a plus)Highly organized, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environmentPrior experience in a customer-facing technical support or engineering role is preferred📩 加入我們投遞履歷／洽詢合作請寄至：eva.lu@morganphilips.com
