
Head of Client Reporting Taiwan / Client Reporting Manager

- Responsible for producing and reviewing of local mandate client reports in a timely and accurate manner (institutional client investment reports, presentations, other bespoke regular& ad-hoc reports).
- Onboarding of reporting requirements for new & existing client accounts and responding to ad hoc requests and queries on an accurate and timely basis.
- Co-ordinate with investment, distribution, operations, and external vendors to fulfil client / regulatory data requests, communicating with clients, client account managers and vendors as appropriate.
- Active participation in various global projects for the region. Undertake basic project management responsibilities (i.e., specifications, timelines and structure) where required.
- Fulfil regular management reporting / KPI tracking / other business value-adding requirements as needed.
- Day to day management of Client Reporting team members in Taiwan. Ensure workload is managed and staff are motivated. Responsible for annual appraisal and ongoing feedback processes.
- Assess and develop existing processes ensuring scale and efficiency
- Write and maintain process and procedure documentation on services provided.
- University degree in Business, Finance, or a related field with a focus on investments
- 6-10 relevant years of experience, preferably in asset management companies / service providers in the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical mindset with solid problem-solving skills, and ability to analyse complex data, identify core issues, investigate, evaluate and reach appropriate conclusions/solutions.
- Sound knowledge of the Asset Management business with the full picture from front to back office.
- Good understanding of portfolio analysis including performance calculation methodologies (GIPS standards), risk analytics and attribution is an advantage.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated and responsive to a changing environment.
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a consultative approach to problem-solving.
- Experience with local FA systems (Jepun/Systemweb) and market data sources (CMoney, BBG) is a plus
- Experience in VBA, SQL, process automation or data visualization tools is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin
