- Design and develop scalable APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Architect and manage GCP-based infrastructure with services like Cloud Run, Firestore, Spanner, Pub/Sub, GKE, and Cloud Functions
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with Terraform
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows using GitHub Actions
- Apply test-driven development (TDD) and build robust automated testing frameworks
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, and DevOps engineers in a cross-functional team
- Continuously research and apply best practices in cloud architecture
- 5+ years of backend development experience, strong in Java and Spring Boot
- Solid experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, especially serverless and containerized architectures
- Proficient with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub Actions
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude to debugging and optimization
- Effective communicator and team player, comfortable collaborating across departments
- Passionate about learning and applying modern cloud and backend technologies
- English communication skills (reading technical docs and collaborating with global teams)
- Work on global-scale retail products with direct exposure to Swedish engineering culture
- Deep-dive into modern cloud architectures with the latest GCP services
