As the team is growing in strength with career progression opportunities and will be responsible for working with business units/operations team to meet customer requirements. Location: Taiwan, RemoteKey responsibilities include the following:Understand business requirements and market dynamics of global supply environmentDevelop and maintain collaborative business relationships with stakeholdersSupport Business Units on new business productsTravel as required to support all new business opportunities (10%) and executive meetingsIndependently develop and drive sourcing strategies on assigned commodities with alignments from key stakeholdersManage key suppliers and stakeholders’ relationshipsDrive supplier performance improvement through regular EBR, QBR and MORContinuously improve and streamline sourcing best practicesSupports executive presentation and regularly works with executivesLeads complex, strategic and business critical projects or initiatives.Initiates analyze and plan annual cost reduction activitiesNegotiate master purchase agreements, service contracts, consignment agreements and any other contracts required under his/her commoditiesOwn Business Continuity Plan and improvement actionsDevelop, implement and communicate company policies and sourcing proceduresReview and approve high value purchase orders for completeness and compliance with company requirementsEnsure 100% compliance to GlobalFoundries SOPWork on other projects and/or assignments as neededSupport regular business units and operations global team meetingsRequired Qualifications:Candidates with below aptitudes will excel in this job scope with exciting career progression opportunities:Education – bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related fieldMin 5 years of working experience in sourcing/commodity management, contract negotiations, supplier relationship management, business strategy, contract manufacturing / outsourcing, and continuous process improvementPrior work experience in semiconductor or wafer fab environment is bonusExperienced working in a global teamStrong mathematical skillsHighly independent and resourcefulHighly PositiveProven negotiation skillsCreative problem solverCompetence in complex data analysis, Excel and PowerPoint skillsGood knowledge of business contractsFlexibility to attend night calls as business requiredAble to travel at short noticeGlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
