Our engineering program manager is responsible for the development and execution management of program plans including identifying issues in schedule, deliverables, or cost, and driving these issues to resolution. This role will ensure ownership and alignment is achieved between external and internal partners to meet program goals as defined by the solution lifecycle and other processes. This person will act as the champion of the complete solution for the products or initiative for which she/he is responsible.If you are our Engineering Program Manager in Taiwan, you will have a chance to:
  • Develop schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, and other support requirements for assigned program.
  • Be accountable for managing programs or initiatives following defined checkpoints and decision making models. Focus is on complete and timely delivery of the specified program objectives. Balances customer and business objectives to achieve solution delivery
  • Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders and PMO; collaborate with management, partners, and manufacturing and development partners to implement changes to product, process, or program plan to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, and ensure adherence to budgets and established product roadmaps and schedules.
  • Manage and leads the cross-functional team activities. Act as the first level of escalation when issues and/or priorities cannot be resolved at the team level. Ensure ownership of escalations
  • Coordinate activities of supporting project teams and internal and external development partners; track progress against established plan and makes decisions to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and development schedule.
  • Proactively identifies risks and linkages. Anticipate potential problems. Ensure contingency plans are created and proper coordination occurs.
需求條件 / Key RequirementsAre you a high-performer? We are looking for an individual with:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
  • PMP/PMI certification preferred.
  • Typically 4-6 years experience or more
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
  • Using project planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.
  • Ability to work with and coordinate with vendors.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and directing matrixed teams and resources.
  • Ability to create and manage program schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at management levels.
  • Customer first mindset.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment. Always looking for ways to improve processes and have the teams work more efficiently.
  • Demonstrated effective communication, presentation, negotiation, planning, organization and facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and understand a diverse set of organizations and functions.
  • Demonstrated breadth of knowledge and understanding of hardware, software, manufacturing, marketing and financial issues and technologies.

  • Demonstrated ability to recognize and resolve multiple program issue areas such as alignment, resources, etc.
