And get differentiated products to market quickly with reduced risk.In this role, the Program Manager works closely with our foundry partners in Taiwan to enable our IP development environment for their key processes; acts as the focal point of contact and manages external and internal communications to cross-functional teams spanning geographical and organizational boundaries; identifies and escalates issues; drives problems to resolution; identifies and manages risk.The program management office at Synopsys acts as the main interface of Synopsys with our foundry partners to ensure successful IP development, integration and Silicon bring up of our IP in customer SoCs. We work cross-functionally with internal development teams (Sales, Marketing, FAE, CAE, and R&D) and have exposure and visibility on a global scale throughout the organization.The position requires a technical knowledge of process technologies, foundry design kits, analog and digital SoC design flows and methodologies. Experience with semiconductor IP design, quality management, and test chip design is a plus but not required. Previous experience working with foundries is a plus.Position Requirements:
- BSEE or equivalent with 5 to 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Candidate must be able to verbal and written communicate in English, and familiar with the terms in semiconductor IP industry.
- Knowledge of IC manufacturing, process technology, design enablement, design flow and sign off process is a must.
- Experience in CAD, PDK development and QA, IP development and Quality management is a plus.
- Customer centricity, the ability to multiplex many issues & set priorities, and the desire to help to bridge foundry and internal teams exploiting new technologies are essential for success in the position.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Having experience in, dealing with, and communicating at different levels of the organization is also a plus to this position as it's a highly visible role.
