Job ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement device drivers for camera subsystems, including image sensors and ISPs, on Linux and RTOS platforms.Port and customize drivers for deployment across various operating systems and hardware platforms.Perform low-level debugging and hardware-software integration on both pre-silicon (FPGA) and production silicon.Conduct system-level profiling, identify performance bottlenecks, and optimize power and memory usage.Collaborate closely with hardware, system, and test teams to deliver robust and production-quality camera enablement.Support key platform features such as secure boot, fast boot, and always-on-video (AOV) scenarios.Assist with platform bring-up, camera tuning, validation, and resolution of field issues.Work effectively within a cross-functional and globally distributed engineering team.Occasional travel within APAC and globally may be required to support development and validation efforts.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.Strong programming skills in C and experience in embedded software development.Hands-on experience with Linux kernel and/or RTOS driver development (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr).Solid understanding of driver architecture, memory-mapped I/O, interrupt handling, and synchronization mechanisms.Ability to develop and debug across both user space and kernel space.Preferred QualificationsExperience with MIPI CSI interfaces, ISP pipelines, and video encoder integration.Knowledge of SoC architecture, particularly ARM cores, and memory management units (MMU, IOMMU, SMMU).Experience with FPGA bring-up or hardware emulation environments.Familiarity with real-time constraints and design of low-latency drivers.Working knowledge of secure boot, fast boot, and always-on video technologies.Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to collaborate effectively in multi-site, cross-disciplinary teams.
