• Define Strategy & Vision: Own the long-term roadmap for the product taxonomy to support business scalability and enhance the customer journey.
• Lead Governance & Automation: Develop the overarching governance framework and lead initiatives for AI-driven classification and automation.
• Drive Business Impact: Define and own KPIs that connect taxonomy performance directly to revenue and customer satisfaction.
• Influence & Mentor: Act as the organizational thought leader on product data, influencing senior stakeholders and mentoring the team.

• 7+ years of progressive experience, with a track record of leading major taxonomy programs in e-commerce.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Expert in using data to drive catalog strategy; deep knowledge of AI/ML classification, ontologies, and large-scale data governance.
• Exceptional communication skills to influence senior leadership.

• Proven experience implementing and scaling AI/ML-driven taxonomy systems in large-scale e-commerce platforms, with a strong understanding of multilingual and cross-border classification challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to improve product discoverability and customer experience through optimized taxonomy, connecting performance to key business metrics such as conversion rate, GMV, and customer satisfaction.
• Strong leadership and strategic influence, with a track record of mentoring teams, driving cross-functional collaboration, and contributing to thought leadership in taxonomy, metadata, or product data governance.
