Job Title Associate Integrated Logistics ManagerJob DescriptionJob Title:Associate Integrated Logistics Manager - Integrated Warehouse and DistributionIn this role, you have the opportunity to make life betterBuild a strong IWD (Integrated Warehouse and Distribution) operations include but not limited to transportation, warehousing, import/export customs activities and possibly trade compliance in Taiwan within Greater China region. This role is part of the Greater China ISC (Integrated Supply Chain) IWD roles in which there will have expectation to ensure operations excellence thru error free and on time delivery to final customers such as hospital via executing ISC GRC IWD strategy within heath system business sector.You are responsible for
  • Act as ISC GRC IWD assistant logistics manager in Taiwan and be the focal point of contact managing IWD related daily operations for health system sector. Activities include but not limited to transportation, last mile delivery, warehousing, customs related activities & trade compliance related ones within Taiwan region.
  • Transportation would involve pulling cargo from origin factory, coordinate and manage last mile delivery within Taiwan with on time delivery to customers. Validate quotation from LMP to ensure Philips to pay at reasonable and competitive price from LMP provider(s). support resolution of transport escalation within region, such as space capacity, delay departure or arrival, shipment track-and-trace with PCT, and so on.
  • Assisting transportation team to execute and deploy global IWD transportation strategy and ISC strategy in the best extent to the region with market and factories.
  • Monitoring and report out region transportation, warehouse and customs handling performance include carrier, logistics service provider(s)’ performance and IWD cost performance within Taiwan region.
  • Leading warehouse activities include managing service provider(s), ensuring daily operations in line with Philips KPI and business requirement.
  • Follow overall IWD global, ISC market strategy in setting up best practices and standardizing process of region transportation, warehouse and customs related arrangement to ensure seamless and effective communications among stakeholders and teams (sales BU, region sales, market IWD)
  • Understand and lead Taiwan region customs related policy, regulation and process any data input, form submission or application in government related website so that a proper customs clearance can be proceeded without issue and be on time.
  • Ensure goods flow with full Q&R compliance and IT support as needed within IWD region transportation operations needs.
  • Work close with GRC IWD team (transportation, warehouse and customs) to ensure a proper and standardized process to be implemented and executed in Taiwan region.
  • Acting independently to determine proper solutions, methods and procedures on new and special assignment.
  • Building and managing best relationship and collaboration with key stakeholders and supporting business growth in the region by executing best of class ISC GRC IWD operations and process with support from TMS, PCT/GBS
  • Contributing on Transformation Activities and deployment within region if needed
  • Supporting ISC IWD GRC region leader on any ad-hoc tasks, assignments being requested to you
You are a part ofYou will report under IWD & Customer Fulfillment leader and its subordinate SO (ISC IWD GRC integrated logistics HK & TW leader) and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Business IWD, market IWD, origin PCT, GBS Suzhou, Spend management and business unit leaders…. etc.To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following5 years of related logistics experience with preferred focus in logistics operations * Strong sense of data integrity and standardization
  • Process mindset demonstrated in lean and process improvement
  • Experience in managing region transportation performance
  • Experience in managing carriers and forwarders with regional exposure
  • Experience in dealing with management and leadership teams at a matrix and different level and functions of organization
  • Excellent communications skills, fluent in English and Chinese
  • Degree in Supply Chain is preferred
