Network Engineer – Datacenter Operations (Racking & Cabling)

- Perform rack and stack of network devices, servers, and other datacenter equipment.
- Execute cabling (fiber and copper) tasks including labeling, tracing, and patching.
- Perform regular physical audits and inspections of network infrastructure.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network switches, routers, and patch panels.
- Maintain documentation of all cabling layouts and hardware installations.
- Collaborate with remote teams for troubleshooting and physical interventions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and quality standards within the datacenter.
- Support in datacenter migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure expansions.
- Provide hands-on support during network outages or scheduled maintenance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in datacenter operations including racking, cabling, and hardware installations.
- Strong knowledge of network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc.).
- Familiarity with structured cabling standards (TIA/EIA).
- Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and cabling schematics.
- Experience with labeling, inventory management, and asset tracking.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
