About the RoleAs a Full-Stack Software Engineer in the Houzz Pro PLM team, you will work on both frontend and backend of the Houzz Pro Project Management. You will use the latest api technology graphql to fetch data from backend, and work in a state-of-art nodejs custom platform that supports server side rendering natively, and use react to paint the page. You will work across the entire stack, reading/write data to Postgresql, MySQL, Redis, Kafka using either PHP or Javascript. You will sharpen your skills in OOP and making engineering design decisions on regular basis.What You’ll DoBuild and improve Houzz Pro Project Management, including the overall experience and a focus on general contractor feature sets: Scheduling, Tasks, Daily Logs and Bid Management.Work cross-functionally across engineering, product, and design teams.At A Minimum, We’d Like You To HaveIndependence, self-direction and experience owning complete products and featuresProficiency in web stack programming, from schema design to building user-facing interfacesAn ability to work on fast paced, data-driven projectsA desire to build an engaging consumer experienceA B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalentProficient in javascript, and preferably familiar with reactIdeally, You'll Also Have2+ years of experience in software developmentHouzz is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
