- Roadmap Execution: Collaborate with leadership to prioritize and manage the technical roadmap for current and future AI vision products.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers across hybrid and remote setups, including cross-site collaboration with Brazil and remote teams.
- Release & Process Management: Establish and maintain release structures, manage sprints, and track engineering performance to ensure predictable, high-quality deliveries.
- Requirements & Communication: Define technical requirements, set priorities, and report progress to leadership and the broader engineering organization.
- Cross-Time-Zone Collaboration: Work effectively across multiple time zones (Taiwan, Brazil, US West Coast).
- Travel: Occasional travel to support team members or customer engagements.
- Culture & Performance: Foster a culture of excellence, ownership, and collaboration in a fast-paced startup environment.
- 3+ years of experience managing software or firmware engineering teams in a high-growth environment
- 7+ years of experience in software development
- Proven track record of delivering production-grade software, ideally in embedded systems, computer vision, or industrial automation
- Experience in sprint planning, release management, and performance tracking
- 2+ years of experience in defining requirements and reporting progress to leadership
- Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and remote team management
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Lead a Strategic Engineering Hub: Take ownership of a key global engineering center in Taiwan, collaborating with teams across APAC, LATAM, and the US.
