  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., C++, Rust).
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 3 years of experience with working in a matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
  • Experience in full-stack software engineering.
  • Experience in writing software to support hardware peripherals.
  • Experience in embedded programming.

  • Contribute to the development of the team, with opportunities to work on driver development, connectivity stacks, testing frameworks, and power management solutions.
  • Manage a cross-functional team that works in various functions on core Fuchsia, including peripheral drivers, connectivity stack, kernel, power, and driver frameworks.
  • Set and communicate team priorities that support the organization's goals. Align strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams.
  • Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines. Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Design and guide systems designs and write product or system development code to solve problems.
