- Lead real-time response to global incidents and emergencies, ensuring swift and accurate communication with internal stakeholders.
- Classify and assess incidents, providing detailed situational awareness to leadership and relevant departments.
- Coordinate with local teams and external partners to ensure employee safety and business continuity.
- Monitor internal and external risk indicators using open-source intelligence (OSINT), social media, and threat intelligence platforms.
- Analyze emerging threats and trends that may impact Coupang's global operations or personnel.
- Assist in defining and executing GSOC's operational strategy and long-term vision.
- Develop and maintain crisis management policies, SOPs, and escalation protocols.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional security projects.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of GSOC personnel.
- Design and conduct regular tabletop exercises and simulations to test crisis response capabilities.
- Foster a high-performance culture within the GSOC team.
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Emergency Management, International Relations, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in security operations, emergency response, or crisis management.
- Proven experience managing 24/7 operations in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Direct experience leading crisis response efforts in a corporate or government setting.
- Experience conducting or facilitating tabletop exercises and emergency simulations.
- Familiarity with global risk landscapes, geopolitical threats, and business continuity planning.
- Certification in emergency management, business continuity (e.g., CBCP, CEM), or intelligence analysis.
- Experience with security technologies, incident management platforms, and OSINT tools.
