Join our Happeners!Job DescriptionMISSION :To ensure the smooth and compliant execution of HR operations in Taiwan by delivering high-quality HR services, maintaining accurate employee data, and supporting both regional and global HR initiatives. This role is critical in fostering operational excellence, employee experience, and alignment with corporate HR standards.Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Manager to lead HR operations in Taiwan. This role is focused on delivering high-quality HR services, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, and supporting regional and global HR initiatives. While this is a senior individual contributor role, it requires strong ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead and manage all HR operational activities in Taiwan, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
  • Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and internal HR policies
  • Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers in Taiwan
  • Coordinate with external vendors for payroll, benefits, and legal compliance
  • Maintain and update employee data in HRIS and ensure accuracy of personnel records
  • Support internal and external audits, and prepare HR reports as required
  • Collaborate with regional and global HR teams to implement HR programs and process improvements
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters
  • Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives
  • Contribute to local implementation of global HR projects and change management efforts
Qualifications
  • 5–8 years of hands-on experience in HR operations.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems and data management.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English is preferred
  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus)
