With us, you’ll develop a comprehensive understanding of copyrights and royalties administration while having fun and working on some of the most iconic songs ever written.Your role:As Manager, Royalties Payable, reporting to the Director, Administration APAC, you will manage and lead the end-to-end outbound royalties primarily for Taiwan and Hong Kong markets, assisting in other APAC territories when necessary. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate songwriter payments, coordinating external and internal audits, and driving continuous improvement in reporting, workflow, and controls.This is a pivotal regional role, with the opportunity to influence business practices and develop a customer-focused royalty function. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams—including Finance, Income Tracking, Royalty Processing, Copyright, and our affiliate offices—while maintaining strong relationships with songwriters, clients, and global stakeholders.Here you’ll get to:Royalty & Distribution ManagementOversee all stages of royalty distribution cycles for WCM-signed songwriters in AsiaManage outbound royalty reporting via the TANGO system and ensure timely client distributionsEnsure pre- and post-distribution checks are executed with accuracy and within deadlinesYou'll assist writers and publishers with their inquiries, collaborating with other teams to resolve any issues.You will ensure the effective administration of all necessary client file updates in our bespoke Deals & Royalties system Tango and SAP Finance systems FIT and the verifying of writer forms as part of our internal security measures.Provide Clients with demos of Warner Chappell’s clients as required.Stakeholder EngagementServe as a key business partner for A&R, Legal, Sync, and Finance on deal evaluations & providing analysis as required.Provide input into new deal analysis and onboarding processes for new & existing signingsRepresent WCM in external client meetings and regional working groupsStrategic & Operational LeadershipCollaborate with the Director Administration APAC on regional strategy and executionContribute to technology improvements and workflow enhancements to the Client PortalYou will be accountable for managing Royalties aspects of the “writer paythrough” project, by working with our Copyright and Tracking teams to meet the KPIs of reducing income being paid to prior publishers and maximizing revenue for our songwriters.Build and develop a customer-focused team culture within the royalties payable functionTeam CollaborationSupport with training to the team (new hires and/or junior when necessary, workload management, and OKRs reporting. Manages training, onboarding, and upskilling. Optimizes productivity through workload distribution and bottleneck identification. Tracks and reports OKRs.
